Meet your Photographer
Hey there! My name is Kyrin, and I am the owner and operator of Happy Valley Creative Works. I'm very grateful that you want to work together, but I’d like for you to get to know who is going to behind the camera first!
Growing up, my parents would take us to Sears every year to get photos for our Christmas cards. I always dreaded it. Forced smiles with frustration in between the shots. “Give me a real smile!” the photographer would say.
These feelings would be at the forefront of my mind whenever I would bring my camera on various motorcycle adventures with friends. I wanted to capture the moment and dynamic of our time spent together, because I believe when viewing photos you should remember how you felt during that time.
I purchased my first camera at 16 with my first paycheck from Bon-Ton (RIP), a Canon T3i and the standard kit lens that came with it, full of passion to create and document. Here we are eleven years later and I still have that same passion, just with back pain now.
I look forward to the opportunity to do the same for the important events in your life, whether that be graduating high school or college, documenting your little ones growing up annually, or photos with that special person in your life!
Please feel free to utilize the contact form at the bottom of this page so we can discuss how I can best serve you!
First and foremost, fun! My responsibility (on top of producing the highest quality photos possible) is to make the experience enjoyable for you. The last thing I want for my clients is to feel uncomfortable, especially in front of the camera. The best smiles are genuine smiles, and you can expect a lot of those throughout a session. This also includes the kiddos, as we play “games” while simultaneously taking photos that capture the dynamic of the family and the fun they have during that time. Did I mention we have fun?
What can you expect from a session?
In my free time, you can probably find me riding motorcycles with friends, whether that be in a lot working on wheelies, out in the woods exploring the beauty that Pennsylvania has to offer, or just cruising back roads. If I’m not on my bike, I’m either at the gym, or trying to befriend stray cats.
